…what it’ll be like when I read back on this in years to come. You think i’ll look back fondly on the memories and say “Wow I’m so glad I worked so hard and shed blood, sweat and tears to have such a fantastic time!”
Rewinding back to the present, I haven’t exactly shed blood….or broke out into a sweat from working so hard. But I am gonna start!!
X Factor began tonight – and I’m working tomorrow 10-7. For all you that know me… you know I like my lie-ins. Especially on Sundays and Wednesdays. Dragging myself outta bed will be a task in itself to go stand in a chiller for 5 hours then check dates for another 4 hours…but it has to be done!
But you know what, I’m gonna read back on this blog when I’m sitting in an internet cafe in the middle of South East Asia and give myself a pat on the back for doing that overtime! 😀
As I’m blogging in the dark at the mo (a concept I strangely enjoy) most people will only read this if they flick through the archive.
I was never one for a diary at school… although I did write the occasional 2 page note throughout my days at Fortwilliam (and university too if i’m honest lol) so I’m going to try to make a big effort to get everything down here!
I’m looking forward to reading it back and having a wee geg since I have a pretty bad memory at the best of the times.
I suppose this saves me a fortune in Oxford notebooks and bic pens!
You’ll be doing one of two things. Either wishing that you had of done that over time or regretting not doing the overtime. Lol.
You should allocate every £ you earn to something cool you could be doing elsewhere.
For example, your first hours work tomorrow could be paying for a nights accommodation in Thailand or Cambodia.
Thats how I get by when I’m having a shit time in work.
